ENGINEERS TO CONFER

Power Supply Authorities The annual conference of the New Zealand Electric Tower Boards and Supply Authorities Engineers’ Association is to be held in Wellington on September 25 and 26. The president on this Occasion is Mr. George Lauchlan, A.M.1.E.E., assistant-general manager and distribution engineer for-the Wellington City Council, who will deliver the inaugural address. A number of papers of great interest will be read at this conference. . The conference will be followed by that of the Power Boards’ Association of New Zealand, which will be held in Parliamentary Buildings on September 27 and 28. Mr. Lauchlan is the Wellington City Council’s representative on that body. The remits to this conference concern matters of finance, rating, supply of current, charges upon land, aud electrical regulations.
