Several cases of poisoning of dogs have occurred recently in the New Lynn and Titirangi districts, states the “New Zealand Herald.” Last week an Irish terrier, valued at over £4O, th® property of Mr. M. Donnachie, of New Lynn, died from poisoning. The animal was not allowed to run loose, and although exercised under supervision, It is thought that it picked un the poison unobserved while being exercised in a paddock adjacent to the owner’s home.
