SUCCESSFUL DANCE
Wellington Tennis Club
The Kelburn Kiosk, with its brightly decorated ballroom, wide glassed-in verandas, and wonderful view of the city and harbour, presented a gay scene last night, whe_n the Wellington Lawn Tennis Club held a dance there. The arrangements had been made by a special dance committee, comprising Miss Selby" Morton, who wore a cornflour blue crepe with puff sleeves of biscuit coloured organdie, Messrs. O’Brien; King, and Costelloe. Among, those, present were.: Mrs. Costelloe, Mr. and Mrs. Gooch, Mr. and Mrs. K. Thompson, Misses J. Fleming (black lace), M._ Morton (blue floral ninon), D. Fanning (blue lace), F. Atkinson, M. Gardner, Hollis, Cooch, Mcßourke (mauve georgette), C. Hickson, King, K. White (wine marietfe), I. Brown (white elegant crepe), K. Quirk (black ring"velvet), M. Fanning (white crushed velvet), Messrs. Ha,klev. Warring. R. and E. Roussell, O« Collins, C. Todd, Knudsen, Hill, Glen, R. Pritchard, B. and T. McCarthy. D. Purcell, F. Dwyer, F. Birkett.
