First Grade 1/9; Second 1/7 WELLINGTON REDUCTION At i meeting of petrol re-sellers held in the city last evening it was decided to reduce 'the retail prices of first grade motor spirit by Id a gallon, the amount of the reduction made In the wholesale prices. Tile re-sellers also decided to reduce the retail prices of second-grade petrol by 2d a gallon. The new prices in Wellington will be first grade 1/9 a gallon, second grade 1/7. At Christchurch yesterday morning all brands of petrol were reduced Id a gallon. Prices in Christchurch now are: First grade.l/8, and second grade 1/7 a gallon.
