MILITARY' DISPOSITIONS Official Wireless. \ Rugby, July 29. Owing to the disturbed situation on the |north-west frontier of India, a column of fdur thousand troops is expected to leave Peshawar to-morrow and proceed along the Gandao Valley io support the chief of the loyal Halimzais tribes against a possible further incursion into their territory of turbulent upper Mohmands. A cavalry regiment and section of armoured cars will stand by the Peshawar Koad. The Government is meanwhile • awaiting the surrender of agitators ■who are attempting to disturb the border peace, and are sheltered in the •’ Bajaur tribe farther north., Further measures may be necessary to enforce compliance with the .Government’s demand for the surrender of these agitators.
