Interest of Public Morals DEFERRED DIVORCE CASE Dominion Special Service Palmerston Norili. July 31. An order for the suppression of evidence was made by the Chief Justice. Sir Michael Myers, in the Supreme Court this morning in a divorce case in which Richard George Harland, labourer, of Otiihuhu. pelitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with . Mary Ann Harland, of Apiti. 'l’lic case v.as del’ended. and counsel for Hie respondent made an application for an order prohibiting the publication of the evidence. His Honour withheld the application at firsl. staling that be would take the course sought if llm necessity arose.
