THE FURNISHINGS

THE comfort of any home, office or hotel lies essentially in the ,careful selection and judicious placement of the Furnishings, and in this connection the furnishings in the Hotel Central are of an exceptionally high quality, and compare more than favonr, nbly with the majority of other first-class hotels in the Dominion. The furnishings of the Hotel Central were entrusted to Messrs. J. G. Marshall, Ltd., of Napier and 'Wellington. In the construction .and designs they have built into the furniture comfort and durability, and as they are the actual manufacturers, be it cabinet or upholstery furniture, you are assured of honest construction and workmanship. Marshall Furnishings set a high quality and leave nothing to be desired. Entering the spacious hotel vestibule, in which there are Oak Lounge Settees with upholstered sprung seats and'backs covered in • blue leather, one is immediately impressed with the effect achieved with the simplicity of the furnishings. Super quality, serviceable and specially wide Axininster Carpets, in various shades of fawn and floral tints, cover the stairways, and tone in beautifully with the N.Z. •Rimu panelled walls.
