FRACTURED NECK
Man Dies in Hospital WALKED FOR SIX WEEKS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Jan. 16. The death of Samuel Flavell, aged 69. of Northcote, occurred in the Auckland Hospital to-night. Mr. Flavell fractured his neck on November .1, but, not realising the seriousness of the injury, he continued to walk about. Six weeks later he was admitted to the hospital, where he remained strapped to' a steel frame.
