National Show Prospects Good entties hare already been received for the large display classes in the National Flower Show to be held in the Wellington Town Hall and Concert Chamber, etc;, on Thursday and Friday, January 26 and 27. Entries for other competitive classes definitely close ou Thursday,’ January 19 with Messrs. A. J. Nicholls (Lower Hutt), j. G. MacKenzie (Town Had), or G. S. Nieoll (secretary). Box 1237, Wellington. The prospects of the show are most encouraging, and the exhibits will be mo«t unique and varied. The whole of the Town Hall, not only the main hall, and Concert Chamber, will provide a feast of colour with general trade displays, begonias, carnations, dahlias, gladioli, hydrangeas, roses, sweet peas, fruit vegetables, citrus, flax, tobacco, and tung oil plants. Outstanding features will be the I,Oder Cup competition for New Zealand plants, florists’ displays, ladies’ decorative classes, and the children’s gladioli competition with over 1200 entries.
