Ambulance Vans Exempt “I have conferred with Mr. Button as to the payment of tolls on the proposed new bridge at Paremata,” said Mr. C.. J. B. Norwood at yesterday’s meeting of the Ambulance Board. “In reply to my questions he said that there was no doubt whatever that there would be no charges for ambulance cars using the bridge.” “There will be no difficulty about the matter,” said Mr. R. L. Button (who is a member of the Hutt County Council as well as the board). “In the case of an institution rendering such valuable service as the Free Ambulance no charge will be made for their cars crossing the bridge?’
