Entertainments for Movie Queen Three special entertainments are announced in aid of the Movie Queen’s campaign on - behalf .of . the Mayor’s Happiness Week fund. A. concert, at which many popular local artists will assist, is to take place in the De Luxe Theatre next Sunday evening. On Wednesday next, a special picture programme will be screened after the usual session at the Majestic Theatre, and this will be followed by an “All'in Fun” revel in the 'Majestic Cabaret. On Sunday, November 27, the Port Nicholson Band is to give a recital in the St. James Theatre, at which a number of Wellington’s leading performers will again assist. Dance for Traffic Queen ‘ In aid of the Traffic Queen (Miss McEvedy) of the Mayor's Happiness Week Fund, a dance will be held in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall to-mor-row. Dancing will be from 8 p.m. till midnight,-aud friends and well-wishers are invited to attend.
