Glorious Day in Wellington
The weather was gloriously fine in Wellington yesterday. There was bright, warm sunshine throughout, with the lightest of breezes from the north.
A moderate south-west wind and fine weather prevailed at Auckland, but the sky was cloudy and threatening until the evening, when the conditions improved. It was bright and sunny at Christchurch, with a light breeze from the east-north-east. The maximum temperature was 59 degrees. A moderate north-east wind and fine but cloudy weather prevailed at Dunedin. The maximum temperature was ss degrees.
