TWO MEN MISSING

Fishing in Open Boat CRAFT FOUND STRANDED Dominion Special Service Auckland, October 30. Two young men, Roy Goldwater, aged 23, of Victoria Crescent, Newmarket, and Christopher King, aged 26, of Vermont Street, Ponsonby, who left Auckland at eight o’clock yesterday morning in a 12foot onen boat for a day’s fishing in the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour, have been reported missing.

Their boat was found stranded at Shoal Bay, Northcote, early this morning, but there was no trace of the occupants. The young men had expected to return yesterday afternoon. The weather iu Auckland has been somewhat boisterous over the week-end, and fears are entertained for their safety.
