DANCE IN SYDNEY

Visiting. Riflemen Entertained The New Zealand AVomeu’s Association of New South AA'alcs gave a dance to the visiting riflemen, from New Zealand in Sydney recently. The guests of honour were Messrs. T. J. Chapman (secretary), AV;' Ballinger, E. Ballinger, H. Koppctt, H. Cromie, R. Nicholl, L. Rule, and A. O’Donnell. The captain, Mr. J. C. Carter, sent apologies for his’inability to be present. Mr. T. J. Chapman, in reply to the welcome extended to the visitors by the association, spoke of their appreciation of the hospitality of the Sydney people, and especially that of the New Zealand Women's Association, “whose welcome and hospitality made one feel as if a piece of New Zealand had been transplanted right into the middle of Sydney.” a ■
