EKETAHUNA’S JUBILEE
Town to Celebrate Ekefaliuna, Oct. 12. At the monthly meeting of the Eketahuna Borough Council Councillor W. Olsen mentioned that next March would see the diamond jubilee of the town. He suggested that the occasion should be marked by some celebration. The mayor, Mr. W. Simpson, approved the Idea, and it was decided to go into the matter. A suggestion was made that the Chamber of Commerce should take the matter lip, but it' was stated that that body was not functioning.
