Manor Park beats Shandon MARY ALWARD CUP M-mor Park defeated Shandon in a Mary Alward.Cup match on the Shandon links on Saturday by seven games to three, with two games, halved. Miss Bray and Miss Pownall, all square. Miss Willis and Miss Press, all square. Miss Fairbrother beat Miss -Thompson, ° Mrs. Barnard beat Miss Hay-Mackenzie, ” Miss Adams lost to Miss Read, 5 down; Miss Nash' lost to Miss Smith, 8 down. Miss Murphy beat Miss Levy, 10 up. Miss Kerr beat Miss Walker, 3 up. Mrs. Mehaffey beat Mrs. Low, 6 up. Manor Park gained 7 points In .the Cup match, and Shandon three, two games being halved. . SHANDON CLUB A one-club competition was played by the Shandon Ladies’ Club over the week-end, and was won by Miss Hodgins, with 83 net . .. Miss Pownall -beat Miss Oughton in the semi-final of the Sunflower Cup competition by 2 and 1. Miss Pownall will meet Mrs.. Burke in the other semi-final, and the winner will play Mrs. Fleming, of the Shandon Mid-week Club, in the final. MANOR PARK CLUB A Canadian foursome played, during the week-end for Mrs. McGowan’s trophy resulted in a win for.
