TAIL-WAGGERS’ CLUB
Larger Premises Needed APPEAL FOR DONATIONS A large amount of the work of the Tail-Waggers’ Club is concerned with looking after the dog who is very often without a home. This has developed to such a degree that the club has to find larger and more satisfactory accommodation for this branch of its work. Over a hundred dogs have already been dealt .with as strays in Wellington alone. Quite a few of them have been found injured, and after treatment have either been restored to their owners or found new homes. The club has started a fund to build satisfactory and modern quarters for this 'branch of its work and invite donations in any coin of the realm. The secretary acknowledges with thanks the following amounts already received:— Well-Wisher, £5; Wagger, 1/3; PocketMoney, 1/-; Prom Me,'2/-; More Soon, Oil; Mrs. Latham, 2/6; Another Wagger, 2/6.
