Stribling Beats Renault - _ Brisbane, August 11. 11l the Stadium, before a capacity house, Young Stribling (13st. 81b.) defeated Jack Renault (14st. 91b.), the referee stopping the contest at the end of the fifth round. Renault, one of the biggest men seen in the Brisbane ring, was in a bad way, bleeding from ear, eye. and nose, and also from a cut on the knee, sustained when he lost his balance and felL Stribling won every round.
