A resolution of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr. G. W. Brigham, assistant city engineer, was moved by the Mayor, Mr. T. O. A. Hislop, before the formal business of the City Council began last evening. Mr. Hislop said that Mr. Brigham had been a very highly esteemed officer. The resolution was carried by council members standing in silence. "'
