Ramsay MacDonald’s health has Improved after a holiday at Lossiemouth and his eyesight is now declared satisfactory. Mr. MacDonald presided at a Cabinet meeting, at which it is understood many subjects were reviewed, including the Ottawa Conference. Full reports from the British delegation were received and considered, but the time has not arrived for decisions. Mr. MacDonald is returning to Lossiemouth after disposing of current affairs. He is expected to be back for the Ottawa decisions. The Treasury has circularised all Civil Service departments insisting on rigid economy, for which there is an increasing public demand. REPORT OF PHYSICIANS Official Wireless Rugby, August 4. Sir Thomas Hprder, the Prime Minister’s physician, >and Mr. Duke Elder, his oculist, after an examination at 10 Downing Street this morning, stated they are satisfied with the state of Mr. MacDonald’s health, which has benefited greatly from his holiday.
