Novelty Trip on Sunday A “mystery train” will leave Thorndon at 10.5 a.m. next Sunday, and this will be Wellington’s first experience of a novelty which has been very popular in England and in Australia. The Railway Department promises an interesting outing and the train will return to Wellington at 5.50 p.m. Seats may be booked, but assurance is given that adequate seating will be available.’ Very few officials are aware of the destination of the train, but it has been arranged that for those who desire it, an easy tramp totalling eight miles will be conducted.
