Mr. Earp, in congratulating Miss Barrett, said her exhibits were right up to the'best quality, and showed not only that she knew what to put up, but that Feilding was eminently suited for honey production.

The president,, Mr. P. A. Hillary, said that last year. Miss Barrett had won a silver ctip for the best apiary in the Feilding district. She was a very keen beekeeper, and was secretary of the Feilding branch of the association. She was now reaping a few rewards for her efforts.
