Judging Awards at Winter Show HIGH STANDARD SET The animal exhibition by the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Association, opened at the Winter Show yesterday, was outstanding in the quality of its exhibits. Many exhibitors who were accustomed to put three or four specimens in one class have this year sent only the choicest exhibits, with the result that the quality all round is exceedingly high. Canaries, Cage Birds There was keen competition in this section ot the exhibition, a particularly -interesting feature being an aviary containing CO specimens of birds from all parts of the .world, canaries, mules, finches, robins, lovebirds, small green parrots, etc., which f-asily won the aviary class.
