ROYAL SHOW

At Invercargill Next OFFICERS OF SOCIETY \ * A Royal Show will be held at Invercargill in December, 1933, according to a decision arrived at yesterday by the council of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand. In regard to the next Royal Show to be held in the North Island after the fixture at Palmerston North in November of this year, the council decided to confer with the committee of the Auckland A. and P. Association during the show at Palmerston North. Mr. L. R. C. Macfarlane (Culverden) was yesterday re-elected president of the society. The following officers were also elected. —Vice-presidents, Messrs. M. A. Eliott (Palmerston North), A. Holms (Waimnhaki) ; council, Messrs. W. Howard Booth (Carterton), J. Knight (Feilding), W. Perry (Masterton), H, B. Stuckey (Dannevlrke), J. Begg (Dunedin), A. Hodgson (Blenheim), C. C. Jarman (Canterbury), W. J. Jenkins (Sheffield); honorary trea,surer, Sir W. D. Hunt.
