OPPRESSIVE HEAT
Indian Cities Sweltering Calcutta. June 14. Twfenty-two persons, including three Britons, died from heat at Cawnpore today. Hundreds collapsed in the streets. Delhi, Calcutta, and Allahabad are also sweltering in oppressive heat. The arrival of the cooling monsoon is eagerly awaited.
