LIVERPOOL MURDERS

Moxley Declares Innocence (Rec. June 15, 9.45 p.m.) Sydney, June 15. The trial is proceeding in the criminal court of William Moxley, who is charged with murdering Frank Wilkingon and Dorothy Denzel at Liverpool. ' Moxley, in a long emotional statement declaring his innocence, said that he had no occasion to kill anyone as he was not in need of money, but since he had been shot in the head he had been a changed man and was not responsible for his actions on the night of the tragedy. “I know nothing about the shooting of tiiese young people, and I don’t think anybody does,” he said. The hearing was adjourned.
