FATAL COLLISION

Crash at Police Station ONE DEAD, ONE INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, April 15. One man was killed and another injured seriously when a light motorlorry in which they were riding collided with the back of a heavy motor-truck parked outside Freeman’s Bay police station to-night. The victims were:— Killed: JAMES NAUGHTON, aged 37, married, of College Hill. Injured: Alfred Best, aged 33. single, of Cook Street, head injuries, condition serious. The motor-truck with which the lorry collided was being used for the conveyance of special constables, and was waiting outside Freeman’s Bay police station. — ■
