Rector of Stiffkey’s Effort HUMOROUS RECITALS London, April 14. The “Dailv Express’’ understands that the Rev? Harold Davidson, rector of Stiffkey, in order to secure funds for his defence against charges of misconduct before the Church Consistory Court, is considering returning to his former career of giving humorous recitals iu public similar to those of the late George Grossmlth and Corney Grain. The rector says he used to earn a thojisanh a year, but stopped when he was ordained. Mr. Davidson adds: "I hate the idea of appearing’in public with lint in hand, but if I can earn money for the defence that way I will do so.”
