EMPIRE SERVICE LEAGUE
Advantage has t’een taken of a visit to Wellington of the bon. general secretary of the Empire Service League, Mrs. E. A. Hot.chkin, to organise a “Buy British and New Zealand goods” campaign. Mr. J. O’Connor, Northland, has offered to assist in the movement. Members are being enrolled freely. and a start will be made this Monday to canvass the city. Mrs. Ilotchkin is staying temporarily at the Y.W.C.A.
Mi. M. Chaplin. Wellington. left for Sydney by the Zealanditt yesterday, where she will jwrmanently reside. Mrs. Chaplin was prominent in local hockey circles, having been an active member of the Ramblers' club for several years.
