I ondon— especially musical London _is mourning the loss of Lady Dean Paul Those who know her musical compositions will know her better as “Poldowski.” Lady Paul died last week after an attack of pneumonia and pleurisy, just before a concert of her works, arranged hv the Marchioness of Carisbrooke, was due to take place. In deference to her fast wishes, that concert will be held to-dav at Dorchester House, Park Dane' “Do look after my music, she said. “Do let the concert go through. The youngest daughter of the famous Polish violinist, Wieniawski. Lady Dean Paul at the age of six years was a child prodigy in Belgium, playing her own compositions in public at that age. She was a wellknown drcss-designer, specialising in men’s dressing gowns and pyjamas. Last, but not least, she was a recognised authority on house decorating, the Prince of Wales being among her clients.
