N.S.W. OPPOSITION
Mr. Stevens Elected Leader (Rec. April 5, 8.45 p.m.) Sydney. April 5. Air. B. 8. B. Stevens to-day was elected Leader of the State Parliamentary Opposition and the United Australia Party in succession to Mr. T. R. Bavin, who retired on account of ill-health. It was resolved that the Parliamentary party and not its leader shall in future choose a Cabinet.
