Thorndon Club Defeated

A match was played • yesterday afternoon between two rinks representing the House of Representatives and the Thorndon Bowlins Club. The results were as follow,' the Parliamentary rinks being mentioned last: —Horwood, Hall, Johnson, Watts (sj. 19; Lye, W. W. Massey, S. G. Smith, Murdoch (s.), 23. Wynne, Mcßae; Gibson, Nelson (s.), 21; Chapman, Ansell, de la Perrelle, Healy (s.), 17.

As the scores were equal, one more head was played, and the Parliamentarians won by two points.
