TWO OVERSEAS LINERS
Maunganui and Tainui due in port this morning Two overseas liners carrying passengers, mails, and cargo, are due at Wellington this morning. The Union Company has received a wireless message from the Maunganui. bound from Sydney to Wellington, reporting that she expects to arrive m the stream at six o’clock this morning. After 'pratique has been granted she will berth shortly before nine o clock at No. 1 north Queen’s Wharf. The Maunganui has on board 177 passengers, and brings 475 bags of mail and 93 parcel receptacles for Wellington. She is to leave here again at 3 p.m. on Friday on the return trip to Sydney. The Shaw, Savill Company has received a further wireless message from its liner Tainui, en route from London and Southampton, reporting that she now expects to arrive in the stream at eight o’clock this morning. She will berth about ten o’clock at the Wharf. The Tainui has on board about 100 passengers, and brings 29 bags of English mail and 240 parcel receptacles. She Is to leave here again on Friday for Auckland to complete discharge of her London cargo and to commence her Homeward loading.
