Wellington Woman Returns i

After a year’s absence abroad, Mi§s M. W. Spite, L.A.8.. L.T.C.L., of Wellington. returned by the Rotorua yesterday. Miss Spite proceeded Home via Australia and Suez, and continued her pianoforte studies in London for the first six months and, with two other New Zealanders, attended the musical conference at Lausanne in August last. Miss Spite speaks most enthusiastically of the general interest shown in recitals of classical music in London and said that the 8.8. C. Orchestra, under the conductorship of Fried. Is now regarded as the finest in the world. Miss Spite spent some time in Scotland and did a considerable amount of motoring in England and Wales.
