The bright sunshine experienced yesterday brought a large number of swimmers and sun-bathers to the beaches, and along the Hutt Hoad and at Day’s Bay streams of cars were to be seen. Those who availed themselves of the opportunity of enjoying the sun at Oriental Bay included the Prime Minister, the Bt. Hon. G. W. Forbes.
