Meeting of Dunedin Old Boys
Dominion Special Service.
Dunedin, September 5.
An enthusiastic meeting of old boys of Wellington College decided to form a branch of the association at Dunedin. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. G. W. Reid; vice-presi-dents. Sir Louis Barnett, Mr. J. R. Callender, Mr. W. H. Jenkins; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. J. Green; auditor. Mr. A McLeod: committee, Messrs. F. M. Hanan, G. H. Gilbert, and R. J. Irvine. Reference was made to the great loss suffered in the death of Mr. J, i P. Firth, mid members of the newlyformed branch stood ’n silence as a mark of respect, for one who had done so much for Wellington College.
