CHARGE OF THEFT
£lOOO Worth of Jewellery MOTOR-DRIVER REMANDED Charged with stealing Jewellery and other goods of a total value of £lOOO, Arthur John Roberts, motor-driver, aged 28, appeared before Mr. E. Page. S.M.. in the Police Court yesterday. On SubInspector Ward’s application he was remanded until September 9. It was alleged that accused stole the jewellery from Sladen and Sons, manufacturing jeweller®, of Christchurch.
