Unemployed Man Loses Relief Dominion Special Service. Foxton, Sep'ember 3. An unemuloyed man waited on the Foxton Unemployment Committee recently and stated that one day last month he had been offered a casual job on the Foxton wharf. As he made himself liable to exclusion from relief work if he refused the job he accepted the position, and earned 4/8. By so doing his time on the No. 5 relief work was immediately reduced for the current month, and actually, through accepting the casual job he lost £l/5/- for the month. The committee regretted that it was unable to make up the time on account of the regulations, and sympathised with the applicant
