September 2, 7.30 p.m.) New York, September L A message from Eardley, Quebec, states that five Dominican priests who were spending a vacation there at tho order's summer camp were drowned when a rowing boat said to be overloaded overturned In a heavy swell on the Ottawa River.
A sixth priest swam safely ashore, but was unable to save his companions.
