LORRY OVER BANK
Two Occupants in Hospital ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED Dominion Special Service. Walpukurau, September 2.. When a motor transport lorry was proceeding along the Main South Road near Hatnma yesterday the steering-gear jammed and the vehicle got out of control and went over a bank. The two occupants, Messrs. George Roy, of Palmerston North, and Richard Moody, the driver, were injured. They were admitted to the Waipukurau Hospital. Mr. Roy is suffering from serious head injuries, and it is feared that he has internal injuries. Mr. Moody has a lacerated hand and abrasions to the body.
