PACIFIST MURDERED
Polish Government Leader (Rec. August 31, 7.30 p.m.). Warsaw, August 30. Two youths, believed to be members of a Ukrainian militarist organisation, entered a health resort at Truskawiec and shot dead M. Holowko, who was undergoing treatment there. The victim was a friend of Marshal Pilsudski (the former Prime Minister), and also vice-chairman of the Government Bloc, whose peace negotiations with the Ukrainian Nationalists are resented by the militarists.
