SET A HEN TO CATCH A THIEF
Three hens were stolen from the fowl run of Herr Schulte, a Westphalian farmer, but the suspected thief claimed that they belonged to him. The hens were liberated in Schulte’s farmyard. They promptly walked !n single file own roost, and the thief was’ sentenced to six months in prison.
