Alleged Theft of Money SUMS TOTALLING £lO5 By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, August 5. Twelve charges of stealing moneys totalling £lO5 between February, 1926. and December, 1930, from Munro and Hickinbpttoin, tailors, were made against Robert John Munro, aged 56. before Mr. Young, S.M. Munro pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial. The police said that Munro and Hickinbottom had carried on business for many years in partnership. Either had been entitled to receive moneys for the firm and to pay. them into a common account. It was alleged that Munro received moneys and converted them to his own use without entering them in the books.
