Chichester’s Japan Flight
OFF AGAIN ON SUNDAY (Rec. July 18, 0.30 a.m.) Manila, July 17. Mr. F. C. Chichester, the Wellington airman, arrived in the early afternoon escorted by three United States Army planes. He was met by the GovernorGeneral’s committee. He reported that his motor needed slight repairs before continuing, but ho expects to take off for Formosa on SU The y Army Air-Taxi Company has placed its facilities at Mr. Chichester s disposal and he was the guest at a dinner of welcome in the Manila Hotel to-night. _
