MERCIFUL OBLIVION
Women Hanged While Fainting
Budapest, June 18. The Hungarian prisoners, Julia Czartas and Marie Czabo, were hanged today. Both fainted at the sight of the gallows, and were unconscious at the time of execution. Czabo left a child born in prison. The hangman carried out his duties under the stress of great emotion.
