HOTEL BURNED
Fire at Kimbolton BLAZE IN HIGH WIND Dominion Speciai Service Feilding, June 13. At an early hour this morning the Kimbolton Hotel was completely destroyed by fire. When the Haines were discovered nothing could be done but to get the inmates out of danger. The whole of the contents, with the building, were destroyed. The building, a two-story one of sixteen rooms, was owned by Messrs. Dwan Bros., of Wellington, and the licensee was Mr. T. AV. Binhey. A strong wind was blowing at the time of the fire, and the sparks set fire to Mr. W. Hansen’s shop across the road, but a bucket brigath -succeeded in saving it and the adjacent stables.
