Mrs. A. E. Carpenter, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. D. F. Gardiner, Seatoun, Wellington. Mrs. S. Stone, Gisborne, is the guest of her sister, .Mrs. L. Symons, Gonville, Wanganui. . -../J Miss Wikitoria Marumaru, will leave Wanganui next Wednesday for Auckland, to take up literary work. Mrs. B. Fry, Wanganui, was hostess on Friday at an afternoon given in honour of Mrs. P. J. Meßreaty. Among those, present were; —Mesdames B; Sherwin, H; D. Jambs, 11. Strachan, W, Swangbr, L. J. Hedditeh, W. H. Bowler, J. B. Murray, C. V. Inglis, J. Hill, R. Jago, H. Davis (Auckland), and R. Ross.
