PETONE KINDERGARTEN
The ladies of the Petone Free Kindergarten Committee held n silver coin morning tea recently. In spite of unfavourable weather there was a good attendance of members and friends, including a number of visitors from Wellington. After morning tea had been served the little tots entertained those present with some clever action songs and games. The committee’s funds have benefited to the extent of £4/10/- as a result of the effort. Those who helped to make the morning a success were Mesdames Holgate, Cotton, Reid, Kirk, Davidson, Hamilton, Piest, Meek, Falder, Heap, Bnrnicott. Haywood, Sturman, Hutchison, Maeleod, Miller, Rowse. Powell, Dowpett, Rainey, Gilbanks. Gibbs. England. Davidson, Heyles, Misses J.' Peacock. Wilson, Young, Sladden. M. Peacock, Sloan, Mr. C.
