PIANOFORTE RECITAL
It is now nearly three years since John Bishop gave his first piano recital In Wellington in 1928. The recital which is announced for May 9 in the Town Hall Concert Chamber at 8 p.m. will- cover a wide range of piano music, from Bach to Scriablne. In' addition, be will have the assistance of Frieda Meier in a performance of the violin and piano sonata of Millland—a work which probably receives its first Wellington performance.
