APOLLO SINGERS
Successful First Season Satisfaction at the success of the firrt season of the Wellington Apollo Singer* was expressed at the first annual general meeting of the society recently. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, the Right Hon. SirFrancis Bell; vice-presidents, Hon. Sir Michael Myers and Messrs. H. D. Bennett, T. Lindsay Buick, A. T. Cartwright, C. F. Lethaby, W. Perry, G. A. Troup and L. F. Watkins; conductor, Mr. H. Temple White: hon. deputy conductor and pianist, Mr. W. Billingtons hon. librarian, Mr. Leslie G. P. Whyte; hon. secretary-treasurer, Mr. L. J. Retalliek: hon. auditor, Mr. T. E. Hogarth; hon. trustees, Messrs. W. Billington and H. A. Pargetter; committee, Messrs, P. T. Brady (chairman). W. Billington, H. F. Gardiner and T. Watson. Preparations are now being made for the second season of this popular malevoice choir.
